ISL club Kerala Blasters rope in Uruguayan attacking midfielder Adrian Luna as their first Foriegn signing for upcoming season from A League club Melbourne City. The club has given a two year contract to the 29- year old midfielder. He was a part of trophy winning Melbourne side with a descent performance throughout the season.
Luna started his career in 2009 with his hometown club Defensor Sporting, later moved to Espanyol after two years. After that, he had loan spells in three different Spanish lower division club's. In 2019, he joined Australian side Melbourne City and stayed there till 2021 with scoring 8 goals from 51 appearances.
Adrian Luna has also represented Uruguay in international age group tournaments. He represented his country in 2009 U-17 Fifa World Cup and bagged two goals in the tournament. In 2011, Adrian was called up for U-20 World Cup, and scored 1 and the only goal for Uruguay in that World Cup.
