Former FC Goa striker Igor Angulo who was all set to join Indian Super League side Odisha FC have now informed the team that he'll not be joining and has decided to reject the offer, according to Marcus Mergulhao (Times Of India). The Former golden boot winner of last season was linked with OFC for about 1 month. But due to delays in tax issues, Igor decided to rethink and an interest from Mumbai City made a change in the decision. Odisha have now started their search for another striker.
Mumbai City have released both of their strikers from last season, Adam Le Fondre and Barthalomew Ogbeche earlier this summer. Angulo is an experienced and tested player who have experience playing with many different clubs and leagues. But, he was not a part of the 4 Foriegn Players of Goa who was selected for AFC Champions League, this made Igor Angulo unhappy and later decided to leave the club.
